Implication of Logo
DNA is at the center of life. Many studies on life science or development in biotechnology depend largely on unraveling it. Genomic approach thus forms the intersection core among the 3 fields of plant, animal, and microbial biotech in this institute. The microbe in the leaf indicates plant-microbe interactions. The woman head represents the animal and medical fields. The boxes are symbolic for microarray results and represent the bioinformatics. These symbols linked together indicate cross-disciplinary researches that are flourishingly developing in this institute.
The logoS look like a flowering plant or a plant with plentiful seeds indicating this institute will be highly productive in publication and biotech invention. The logo also looks like a beautiful angel flying in the sky and going into the infinity, suggesting biotech is the key leading to the environmental sustainability. The logos consist mainly of 2 colors: red is symbolic for our passion and ambition in pursuing excellence in scientific research and for human welfare, and green indicates our mission and responsibility to the environmental protection and the best beyond.
